As part of the general ledger team, the Senior Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for ensuring vendor bills are entered accurately and timely and appropriately paid and recorded as such. In addition, the Senior AP analyst will answer vendor inquiries, research discrepancies, assist in reviewing and approving employee expenses, and assist with account reconciliations and analytics during month-end.

What you'll do:

  • Accurately code and enter invoices into the AP system daily
  • Prepare weekly AP summaries for management review
  • Initiate and record vendor payments weekly
  • Manage AP inbox, respond to vendor inquiries, and resolve any payment-related matters
  • Maintain accurate vendor records, including contact information, payment terms, contracts, and tax documentation
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoice approval within Invoice software
  • For month-end, prepare AP accrual entry and balance sheet reconciliations including analysis
  • Obtain, scan, and process AP related mail in the corporate office weekly
  • Review and approve employee expense reports in conjunction with company policy
  • Coordinate year-end 1099 process
  • Assist with external audit requests
  • Assist with ad-hoc accounting related tasks as needed

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 Years of Experience
  • Accountable to complete repetitive tasks with accuracy and with attention to detail
  • Detailed organizational skills to ensure deliverables and deadlines are met
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables and vlookups)
  • NetSuite experience a plus
