Mindex’s Cloud Services division is a dedicated group of cloud experts with extensive knowledge of workloads on AWS and Azure. We are an AWS Advanced Services Partner, and specialize in cloud-native application development, application modernization, cloud managed services, cloud migration, big data, and analytics.
The Delivery Lead is accountable for the successful delivery of engineering solutions produced by cross-functional software delivery teams. They are a general specialist with a broad understanding of the full software development life cycle. They draw on a wealth of experience in various technology roles and functions including engineering, business analysis, delivery management, and product ownership. They apply these skillsets as they oversee and direct software implementation and delivery across the portfolio of client engagements for Mindex Cloud services.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Acts as a single point of client contact and escalation. Accountable for project delivery across a portfolio of teams and projects.
- Understands and drives Mindex delivery team alignment with the client’s mission, vision, and business value as defined by client stakeholders.
- Builds relationships with Mindex delivery teams and client stakeholders to deliver an uncompromising client experience. Plots and measures the health, status, and performance of client engagements, unblocking obstacles when present.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration inside of, and outside of, the team.
- Collaborate with all scrum team members to ensure successful sprint execution through the use of best practices, inspection, and adaptation.
- Partners with technical leads to provide performance feedback, coaching, and professional development to individual scrum team members; may include people management.
- Working with scrum teams to remove impediments, facilitate standard scrum ceremonies, and ensure that all ceremonies are positive and productive for the team.
- Coach team members in Agile frameworks and SDLC processes. Mentor teams to be self-organizing, self-managing, and self-disciplined in pursuit of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- AS or BS degree. Computer Science, Engineering, or related area preferred, but not required
- Proven experience in functional people management with the ability to coach and mentor teams in the way of people, process, and technology
- Strong background in Agile software development methodologies
- Experience with all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with Cloud computing concepts and experience working with AWS or Microsoft Azure Cloud platforms
- Strong analysis, critical-thinking capabilities, and problem-solving skills
- Strong focus on exceptional client service
- Highly organized and accurate
- Strong initiative and follow-through skills
- Strong skills in managing multiple projects with ability to prioritize, organize, and maintain details
- Aptitude and desire to work in a highly collaborative, self-organizing, team environment
- Willingness and ability to provide and accept feedback
