Roles and Responsibilities:
As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and delivery for the Extreme Cloud platform. This platform manages cloud-based microservices, on-premises virtual appliances and orchestration of the new Cloud Edge products to deploy, monitor and configure end to end IT networks. We are looking for a candidate who is excited to push the boundaries of technology and can efficiently transform innovative ideas into efficient code. If you are passionate about cloud networks, performance, and optimization, and are excited to work at the cutting edge of Wi-Fi and Private Mobile Networks, we would be excited to meet you. ·       Member of agile scrum team delivering Extreme Cloud Applications·       Design and Deliver cloud-hosted backend applications for Networking and IT·       Capacity to switch between multiple Extreme application domains·       Work alongside the CloudIQ, AI Modelling and Converged Access Teams.·       Develop APIs, services, and systems across our backend platform.·       Work closely with CX and UX teams for Solution consistency·       Work with Extreme Ireland on Knowledge Sharing, Collaboration and R&D opportunities  Experience and Qualifications:·       3 to 5 years of industry experience in Enterprise software engineering·       Hands on programming experience in Java, Python, GoLang for Services·       Experience in cloud based distributed computing including Node, Express, Ignite, Spring Boot and Java/Go/Python Framworks·       Experience in working with databases such as Postgres, MySQL·       Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)·       Good written and verbal communication skills·       Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Other Desired Qualifications:·       Experience of Cloud Network and IT Industry data and networking products·       Awareness of Networking Wired, Wireless and Mobile technologies·       Familiarity with service-oriented architecture and distributed computing·       Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning Engineering Education:·       Bachelors/Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant experience #LI-HybridExtreme Networks, Inc.
