JOB DESCRIPTION
Sr. Consultants, Solution Architecture for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ: Chicago, IL). Architect and implement highly available and scalable systems on cloud platforms (primarily AWS). Develop automation and processes to quickly and rapidly deploy, manage, configure, and scale cloud-based systems and stacks. Collaborate with other application developers and architects, infrastructure engineers and architects, and operations staff to develop cloud deployments to solve real business problems. Utilize DevOps concepts to develop, automate, and operate Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) cloud deployments. Technical Environment: Systems Administration; AWS Cloud Services; Cloud Architecture design; Cloud Architecture improvements and cost optimization; Cloud infrastructure (C2, S3, EFS, EBS, RDS, DynamoDB); Network Administration Datacenter and Cloud; Cloud Migration and Adoption; Cloud Security implementation; Datacenter migrations and consolidations; Networking protocols; Python; IaC (Cloud Formation and Terraform); infrastructure monitoring, diagnostics, and operational analysis; replication and disaster recovery implementation; AWS Networking (AWS—VPC, security groups, Route 53, CloudFront, ELB/ALB).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

*Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing Architecture, or a related field plus two years of experience in the job offered, as a Solutions Architect, or any related occupation required. Required skills: Systems Administration; AWS Cloud Services; Cloud Architecture design; Cloud Architecture improvements and cost optimization; Cloud infrastructure (C2, S3, EFS, EBS, RDS, DynamoDB); Network Administration Datacenter and Cloud; Cloud Migration and Adoption; Cloud Security implementation; Datacenter migrations and consolidations; Networking protocols; Python; IaC(Cloud Formation and Terraform); infrastructure monitoring, diagnostics and operational analysis; replication and disaster recovery implementation; AWS Networking (AWS—VPC, security groups, Route 53, CloudFront, ELB/ALB). Telecommuting permitted. (*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing Architecture, or a related field plus five years of progressive experience in the job offered, as a Solutions Architect, or any related occupation also acceptable).
