This leader will build processes and a team that will allow them to know everything going on in the backlog and lives and breathes project updates and provides assessment of how project updates change our corporate earnings, EBITDA and cash flow forecasts.

• Owner of the financial impacts of our development pipeline on company earnings and cash flows forecast and budget
• Maintain an up-to-date database of projects in the backlog.  Such list is constantly vetted and updated to reflect best available information.
• Identifies when information is sufficiently reliable to incorporate updated earnings/cash flows into the corporate forecast. Gains necessary buy-in from company leadership to update placed in service date forecast
• Creates and maintains model intake processes that support close tracking of model changes
• Ensures backlog models have the necessary export tabs for corporate model integration

 

• Influences financing and construction decisions to optimize project for earnings cash flow outcomes that align with shareholder needs
• Escalates issues appropriately to reach desired outcome in a timely manner
• Builds a team with strong HLBV knowledge that can review earnings outputs from SME teams and identify issues or sign off on results
• Book HLBV accurately for newly placed-in-service projects and ensure compliance with established internal controls
• Supports/Leads transactions as assigned Supports semi-annual AIMCO valuation process, Annual SOTP analysis, Annual Goodwill Analysis and any other Takes ownership of Generic model and supports strategic planning scenarios as needed Responsible to transition development projects to the Operating Asset FP&A Team Builds and develops team member according to their development plans Supports tax team deliverables on a monthly basis Supports/leads parent cash and debt budget/forecast
