Reporting to the Chief Engagement and Culture Officer, the Associate Director for Staff Engagement will collaborate with senior management and team leaders across DAR’s central office, twelve schools, and six centers to advance our commitment to foster a meaningful staff culture, recognize the accomplishments of our team members and continuously enhance personal and professional development.The Associate Director for Staff Engagement will design and implement employee engagement strategies based on best practices and employee feedback. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on employee experience, supporting professional growth and retention.
Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- In collaboration with the CECO and DAR departments, plan, coordinate, and execute, evaluate events and activities that foster a sense of community and camaraderie among staff inclusive of all- staff gatherings, town halls, team building, social gatherings, and volunteer opportunities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with colleagues to ensure collaboration and alignment on engagement efforts. Collaborate with CECO, senior management team, administrative coordinators, and other relevant stakeholders to implement engagement initiatives
- In collaboration with the CECO and Associate Vice President for DAR Diversity Initiatives, develop and support programs that promote employee engagement, satisfaction and retention to support diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
- Introduce and enhance tools inclusive of surveys and focus groups to assess and monitor employee culture and satisfaction. Utilize feedback to inform ongoing engagement strategies and initiatives
- Enhance and formalize employee recognition programs to acknowledge and reward excellence, contributions, and achievements within DAR
