We are seeking a Family Time Coordinator (Social Service Assistant) to join our Salem Child Welfare team.

Summary of Duties
As an employee working within the Child Welfare Program, you will have an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Oregon’s most vulnerable children and families. Your dedication will help us achieve the Child Welfare Vision for Transformation that will support children and young adults to be safer, healthier, experience less trauma and achieve a greater well-being.
As a Family Time Coordinator, you will:
Gather and document information from the caseworker, children, parents, relatives, case providers, schools and other resources to plan family time visits.
Meet with clients, family members and caregivers to review family time agreements and guidelines.
Supervise family time visits between children, parents, and family members in an office setting or in a community setting.
You will observe family time and take case notes.
Transport children, and parents to visits, medical appointments, social services or other agency related appointments as required.
Collaborate with Caseworkers to assess level and location of family time supervision on an on-going basis.
Minimum Qualifications
One year of experience working in a human services or behavioral health setting; OR
An associate degree in any field; OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.
