General Labor - Lumber

General Laborer Summary:
The Baillie Group's Smyrna, NY sawmill is looking to add some General Laborers to the team. This is a full time opportunity working for a world class hardwood lumber manufacturer.
• Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Salary: $15 - $18/hour
• Overtime Hours & Pay
• Full Plan of Benefits Including health and life insurance, paid vacation and paid holidays!
General Laborer Requirements:

◦ Handling and stacking green lumber
◦ Carrying Lumber from one area to another
◦ Must be able to lift over 25 lbs.
◦ Work in sometimes cold conditions
◦ Willingness to learn new jobs and operate machinery required
General Laborer Education & Experience:
• Previous experience as a warehouse worker preferred
• Previous experience as an entry level worker is preferred
• Previous experience working on a farm is a plus!
• High School degree preferred, but not required

The advertised pay range represents what Baillie Lumber Co. believes and anticipates paying for this position. It is not typical for an individual to be compensated at the top of the range for a position as candidates must possess experience and qualifications that far exceed the requirements.
