About the role

Location: Los Angeles,California,United States

Fully Remote | Flexible Outpatient Psychiatry Role | 20–40 hrs/week | CA License Required

Are you a passionate Psychiatrist (MD/DO) looking for a flexible, fully remote opportunity to provide high-quality care? At Iris Telehealth, we’re on a mission to expand access to high-quality behavioral health care—and we’d love for you to be part of it.

We’re looking for a Psychiatrist licensed in California to join one of our Community Mental Health Clinic (CMHC) partners in an outpatient setting, treating adolescents & adult patients. This role offers the flexibility to work 20-40 hours per week and the support of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team so you can focus on delivering impactful care. You'll work with experts in psychiatry, neurology, and psychology, supported by a robust administrative team, allowing you to focus on patient care.

Why Iris Telehealth?

  • Mission-Driven: We're not just another telepsychiatry company. We are Joint Commission Accredited and deeply committed to our mission of expanding access to mental health care.

  • Comprehensive Support: From licensing and credentialing to IT and administrative assistance, we've got you covered so you can focus on patient care.

  • Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a flexible schedule with the freedom to work from home, allowing you to maintain a healthy balance between your professional and personal life.

About the Role:

  • Setting: 100% Remote | California based outpatient clinic - CMHC

  • Schedule: 20–40 hrs/wk | Within Mon (8–5), Tues/Weds/Thurs (8–7) | Friday coverage needed (8–2)

  • Primary Diagnoses: Adolescents and adults with moderate acuity, including conditions such as depression, anxiety, and trauma. Seeking a provider comfortable treating a broad range of diagnoses.

  • Patient Population: This role primarily serves a Native population; experience working with this community is strongly preferred. This is a trauma-rich population where historical, ancestral, and multigenerational trauma are important considerations in care.

  • Appointment Times: 60-90 minutes for initial visits, 30 minutes for follow-ups.

  • We are seeking a trauma-informed provider who is excited to collaborate with and learn from an on-site care team while delivering care remotely.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a 4-year ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency.
