Full-time position - (No Weekends)

Kingston, New Hampshire

A small animal hospital in Kingston, NH is looking for a full-time veterinary technician/assistant. Our hospital currently supports 2 veterinarians, 4 technicians, 2 customer service representatives, and a veterinary assistant. Our facility is spacious and clean and has the potential to grow. Our team is fabulous and treats one another with respect while having fun helping people help their pets.

The ideal candidate should have the following qualities:

• healthy
• handles constructive criticism well
• willing to learn

The ideal candidate should have the following skills:

• phlebotomy
• client education (vaccine, wellness, preventative, surgery protocols)
• nail trims
• anal gland expression
• animal restraint
• an understanding of surgical and dental protocols including drug calculations, anesthesia induction and monitoring, intubation, surgical prep, dental scaling, polishing and dental radiography
• radiology
• veterinary computer software (currently using Avimark)

Pay Range: $17-$23 (based upon experience)
