Location
NHQPurpose
- This position is responsible for achieving the company’s PIO accessory sales revenue and profit objectives by managing and overseeing PIO sales related functions and activities, assisting as needed with accessory development planning.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholder divisions to achieve revenue and profit plan for PIO, including regions, distribution, ports and associated partners, Mobis, HMC and any 3rd party accessory suppliers.
- Coordinate cross functionally with all HMA Affiliates, and non HMA groups to ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and business performance of PIO Accessories.
- Report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on PIO Sales, profit, opportunities, etc.
Major Responsibilities
- Develop, plan and implement strategies, tactics and collective support to meet all PIO sales and revenue objectives and adjust plan as needed based on business conditions.
- Evaluate and/or present proposals as needed to optimize profit and customer needs. Investigate opportunities to offer new sales channels.
- Lead and manage PIO drop ship suppliers and coordinate with stakeholders for approvals, training and supply to maximize PIO installations.
- Identify and request new accessory needs based on market and customer needs.
- Work closely with Vehicle and Parts Pricing to support Pricing Sheets for PIO accessories by providing installation rates, forecasting accessory sales, and other analytics.
- Interface with the regions, appropriate departments, and other business units to carry out their assigned PIO revenue and profit tasks.
Major Responsibilities (continued)
- Coordinate with product planning and other divisions/departments as needed to meet requirements for vehicle sale and/or certification.
- Generate ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, yearly forecasts on PIO sales, and PIO programs and promotions
Responsible for coordinating with MPA and Glovis for supply of all developed accessories to support PIO sales and forecasting. - Lead accessory training coordination between Glovis, Mobis, 3rd party suppliers and internal departments, assist with developing Quick Reference Guides (QRGs), and other necessary documentation required to support required installations to maximize sales and profit as well as customer satisfaction.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Authority
- Negotiate pricing and PIO application rates for developed accessories as needed.
- Set and maintain targets to achieve PIO sales tasks cross divisionally and globally with Glovis, MPA, MHQ, and HMG.
- Negotiate with internal stakeholders to set targets and adjust as needed.
- Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct interviews, hire new staff, and provide employee orientation.
- Coach and provide career development advice to staff.
Education
~ Must be a high school graduate~ Bachelor’s degree preferredRelated Experience
- At least eight years of experience with at least five years of Automotive Retail and Wholesale experience.
- Two to three years of Managerial experience desired.
