Position Overview

The Illinois Department of Corrections is looking for an organized candidate to become part of the clinical services team at Vandalia Correctional Center. The ideal candidate will compile complex charts, reports, and documents as well as input data into the Offender 360 (0360) program. The candidate will serve as a receptionist for clinical/field services department as well as a back-up for the Office Associate – Visitor Coordinator. Essential Functions

• Keyboards complex charts, documents, reports, memoranda, and letters regarding Clinical Services functions (meetings, phone lists, visiting lists).
• Performs data input and information retrieval utilizing Offender 360 (O360), CHAMP and a variety of proprietary software, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of individuals in custody records.
• Maintains files of all office records.
• Serves as receptionist for Clinical Services Staff.
• Receives, screens, and distributes mail for Clinical Services staff.
• Serves as a back-up for the Office Associate-Visitor Coordinator.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of those enumerated above.
