Responsibilities

• Develop and execute pastry menus that align with Grecotel's standards and meet guest preferences
• Create and oversee the production of a variety of desserts, pastries, and breads
• Train and manage a team of pastry cooks and assistants
• Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, and ensure proper storage and rotation
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
• Collaborate with other culinary teams to develop new menu items and concepts
• Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve pastry offerings

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
• Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and flavors
• Proven leadership and management skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent creativity and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
