Application Developer | Retail

As a Product Developer at Epicor, you will bring your expertise to the development of new and existing products, services, and processes. In this role, you will work closely with members of the Product Development and Product Management teams to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions. This position is integral to our Retail organization, where you will contribute to innovative solutions that enhance the retail experience.

What you will be doing:

• AI-assisted writing, refactoring, and testing of new and existing applications and framework components to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Participating in the design and review of core functionality to enhance product performance and user experience.
• Developing, analyzing, and maintaining tools that support and automate processes for hardware or software product releases.
• Delivering work on time with excellent quality, aligning with project goals and customer expectations.

What you will likely bring:

• Proficiency in Python 3 and Angular or another JavaScript/TypeScript framework.
• Some experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational database systems.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to evolving project requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills to address technical challenges effectively.

What could set you apart:

• Experience with Django for web application development.
• Background in retail or supply chain software, offering valuable insights into industry-specific needs.
• 2–5 years of progressive experience with demonstrated success in product development.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
