Job Description

Sr. Business Analyst (Vivint, Inc., Lehi, UT)

Design, develop, enhance, and support innovative, meaningful, and useful visualizations with optimal performance for end users. Adhere to and promote analytic best practices for consistent performance, accuracy, quality, and reliability. Partner with Operations Quality, IT, and Analytics directors to measure success on IT initiatives. Partner with Supply Chain Sr. Vice President in strategic initiatives related to Supply Chain. Own the analytics support and reporting (Snowflake SQL and Tableau) for Supply Chain. Analyze large operational data and provide data-driven recommendations. Partner with Supply Chain Directors and VPs to identify cost savings initiatives and own the development of tracking and reporting on effectiveness. Partner with Supply Chain team to identify and support implementation of automation tools and reporting in day-to-day operations. Telecommuting may be permitted 1 day per week. When not telecommuting, must report to Vivint, Inc. at 3401 N Ashton Blvd., Lehi, UT 84043. Salary: $100,984-$110,000 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or any occupation/position/job title involving data analytics.

Must also have experience in the following: 5 years of professional experience in communicating complex data as simple stories that drive action using advanced SQL, database, and data visualization; 5 years of professional experience analyzing, designing, developing, and supporting Tableau reporting; 5 years of professional experience in developing and managing data visualization tools (Tableau and PowerBI); 5 years of professional experience utilizing SQL to produce ad hoc queries, views, and SCDs; 2 years of professional experience delivering business improvement projects with high level returns exceeding $1 million; and 2 years of professional experience utilizing SAP (Hana), Coupa, and associated data models.
