Production Operator

Dispatch Operative – Vertiv Burnfoot (3-shift system)

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders in line with daily schedules and company procedures
• Operate Oracle EBS (Donna module) to process orders, generate dispatch documentation, and maintain accurate inventory records
• Check and verify outbound shipments for accuracy against customer orders and shipping documentation
• Load and unload vehicles safely, ensuring correct labeling and packaging for transit
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, and transport teams to ensure on-time dispatch and delivery
• Monitor stock levels of packaging materials and finished goods, reporting discrepancies and shortages
• Ensure all dispatch activities comply with health & safety and quality standards
• Investigate and resolve basic dispatch or system errors within Oracle EBS, escalating issues where necessary
• Perform cycle counts and stock reconciliations to maintain inventory accuracy
• Maintain a clean and organized dispatch area, supporting 5S or similar continuous improvement initiatives
• Complete all dispatch records and logs in a timely and accurate manner
• Assist with other warehouse duties as required (e.g., inbound goods, general housekeeping)

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in a dispatch or warehouse role within a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Proficiency in using Oracle EBS or similar ERP/WMS systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Forklift license (preferred, but not essential)

Please note that the working hours for this position are on a 3-shift rotation. These would be Mon-Fri 6AM-2PM, Mon-Fri 2PM-10PM, and Mon-Fri 8AM-4:30PM
