What You'll Need:
High School Diploma or GED General Studies
Successful completion of a North Carolina Board of Nursing Aide I approved training program/competency evaluation
Nurse Aide I Registration Division of Facility Services Nurse Aide I Registry
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
Preferred: Prior experience
Functions:
Assist RN in patient care.
Perform specialized procedures as directed.
Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for all.
Ensure accurate, timely patient info sharing.
Communicate effectively, positively, and professionally.
Provide age-appropriate care per guidelines.
Take initiative for growth and development.
Physical and Behavioral Requirements:
Lift, carry, and push heavy objects.
Perform bending, squatting, and standing tasks.
Use visual acuity for reading and documentation.
Maintain a sense of smell for safety.
Utilize a sense of touch to evaluate vital signs.
Communicate effectively verbally and audibly.
