Job Summary:

Our Pratt & Whitney Amercon facility in Middletown, PA has an exciting opportunity for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk on 3rd shift. This is a highly collaborative role where you will partner with production control, warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, planning and other operational organizations.

This position is available on 3rd shift (Monday – Friday from 10pm – 6am) onsite at our Middletown, PA location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receives, checks, stores, kits, issues and ships a variety of items and maintains inventory control
• Uses assistance and/or powered mechanical means (not to include forklifts, box trucks or high bay vehicles) to load, unload, store and deliver a variety of incoming and outgoing material. Will be asked to lift boxes and other equipment up to 50 lbs
• Prepares and packages small and large parts using proper procedures and materials including computer hardware/software and measuring/weight recording devices
• Oversees parts preparation, material handling, measuring and packaging equipment, records calibration logs of tools and equipment
• This position will work under moderate supervision and complete additional tasks as assigned
• This position may need to work overtime based upon business needs

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1+ year(s) of experience in warehousing and/or logistics related activities such as operation of warehouse material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, box trucks and/or hoists, etc.)
• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Microsoft Windows and Office products
• Working knowledge of SAP systems
• Experience performing basic math calculations
• Experience using an RF ( Radio Frequency) scanner

Additional Information:

• Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
