Senior Project Manager, Implementations - Projects - Change Management (Remote)

Full time, United States, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, United Kingdom

 

The CSS IPCM Senior Project Manager is responsible for delivering different types of projects or programs involving (but not limited to) customer implementations and changes, as well as agency projects, internal product implementations, and core business process changes.

 

This position's primary role is to deliver projects or programs with a medium to high complexity, which are measured by the scale and scope of the request. Complexity can be the number of countries or the complexity of the customer or product. Complexity is determined by the IPCM Management team when assigning the request based on the information gathered from the vetting.

 

As a Senior Project Manager, IPCM, you will 

  • Plan projects according to the defined scope
  • Confirm all necessary resources are assigned per the project scope
  • Leverage regional and local resources and resources from the different departments and functions to support projects
  • Follow all IPCM procedures and OneTouch Project methodology and reporting
  • Lead discovery, planning, and collaboration calls leveraging CSS MS Teams and IPCM protocols
  • Facilitate effective and constant communication with all project participants (internal/external)
  • Keep the project sponsor(s) and stakeholders informed about the status of the project
  • Manage Project risks
  • Facilitate and drive decision-making and escalation concerning the projects assigned
  • Maintain project plan updates
  • Distribute meeting notes within departmental guidelines
  • Meet requirements of CSS IPCM Competency Matrix

 

About you

  • Proven success in leading medium-complexity projects in travel management operations
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must be reliable and flexible with working hours based on the needs of the projects
  • You have a project management certification (Prince2, PMP, or equivalent)
  • Experience in Project Management Software
  • Working knowledge of BCD Travel's multi-national structure and capabilities
  • Good technical skills in GDS
  • Ability to travel 5-20%, including weekends
