The Role
Xos is seeking a highly organized, motivated, and analytical professional to join our team as a Business Operations Associate, working closely with the company's Chief Operating Officer (COO). This is a unique opportunity for an early-career professional to gain broad exposure to business operations, strategy, and executive support within a fast-paced, dynamic company.
In this role, you will contribute to key operational projects, process improvements, and data analysis while also providing high-level executive support to help drive company priorities forward. This position is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong ability to optimize processes, manage projects, and assist in key decision-making. **This is an on-site based position out of our Los Angeles, CA HQ**
Responsibilities
- Support operational efficiency initiatives by analyzing data, identifying trends, and making strategic recommendations.
- Assist in the development and execution of business strategies, process improvements, and KPI tracking to support company goals.
- Work cross-functionally with various teams to streamline workflows and improve internal processes.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards to provide insights into business performance.
- Assist in special projects, including market research and competitive analysis.
- Serve as a support partner to the COO, helping manage priorities and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Assist with administrative and coordination tasks such as managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel logistics.
- Serve as a liaison between the COO and internal/external stakeholders.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Assist with various administrative duties to enhance executive productivity.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience, study, or demonstrated interest in business, operations, finance, entrepreneurship, or related fields
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Google Sheets, GSuite).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
- High level of discretion, professionalism, dependability, and ability to handle confidential information with care.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset, eager to learn, and excited to grow in a dynamic environment
The salary range for this role is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Xos Inc. reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including not but limited to, job-related knowledge, skillset, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, geographic location, and other business or organizational factors.The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
- California (Los Angeles Metropolitan): $67,000 - $70,000 annual base salary

This is primarily a sedentary role that requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and attending virtual or in-person meetings.
