Pharmacist - ONSITE - Syracuse, NY

As an integral part of Propel Pharmacy, LLC the Pharmacist drives pharmacy operations to ensure a seamless patient experience. As a Pharmacist, you are dedicated to delivering a high-quality level of care and will lead key operational efforts at Propel Pharmacy, LLC Syracuse. **Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual incentive plan and stock options may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.

Essential Duties

• Comprehensive review and verification of prescription orders for accuracy and completeness
• Perform clinical utilization reviews and implement quality control measures to ensure safe and accurate dispensing of medications
• Provide consultations and assist with medication information questions as requested by patients and providers
• Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians’ workflow
• Complies with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the state board of pharmacy, the drug enforcement administration, and the food and drug administration
• Participate in departmental continuous improvement efforts, lead projects,and engage and communicate cross-functionally with other teams to improve our internal processes
• Other duties as assigned

What you bring to the role

• At least 1-2 years of recent pharmacy experience in a high volume setting
• Adaptable, flexible, and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced, and high growth environments
• Analytical, creative, and can leverage data to make thoughtful and informed decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate a passion for the Thirty Madison mission of expanding access to healthcare
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in New York
• Thirty Madison requires all prospective pharmacy employees who are extended an offer of employment to submit to a drug test

Physical Requirements

• Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone 7-8 hours per day.
• Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person communication 7-8 hours per day.
• Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor.
• Ability to sit or stand at a desk for 7-8 hours per day.
• Ability to lift 50-60lbs.
