The Role
The Principal Product Manager - Platform Accelerators & Enablers will lead strategy, development, and execution for platform technologies that facilitate innovation and improve internal and external user experiences across SoFi product areas. This role will be responsible for a portfolio of products and services that are leveraged by all SoFi product lines to drive business growth and member engagement, beginning with omnichannel communications that help SoFi members Get Their Money Right. As a senior leader on the Platform team, this role will interact with C-level executives and own prioritizing and aligning on an optimal set of investments to help stakeholder teams achieve their short- and long-term objectives. Successful candidates will have experience delivering scalable, durable solutions that effectively address the needs of both internal users and end-customers, as well as operating autonomously to create a long-term vision, set and manage organizational goals, and collaborate with engineering, design, and business partners to bring those goals to fruition.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the product vision and execution for foundational technologies that accelerate and enable product innovation across SoFi businesses, beginning with an omnichannel communications platform.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to expand platform investments to improve member experience and accelerate business growth.
- Reimagine, optimize, and scale existing solutions to meet evolving customer needs, with an emphasis on thinking big and building out long-term innovation capabilities.
- Define and drive goals that measure success for platform accelerators and enablers.
- Work closely with engineering and design to devise and implement technology solutions and work across functions to drive adoption of owned products and services.
- Collaborate with other product leaders to improve product management processes, frameworks, team structure, and culture.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's degree or higher (or equivalent).
- 7-10 years of experience in Product Management, with a proven track record of driving product innovation and growth.
- Demonstrated ability to build, ship, and optimize platforms that power consumer-facing products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think strategically and execute efficiently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills and demonstrated success delivering across cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing complex product development cycles and highly technical solutions
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams and manage complex projects to completion.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and tools.
