IES is currently seeking a Retail Project Manager to join our team! Under the general supervision of the Vice President Retail Marketing and Community Relations (VPRMCR), the Retail Project Manager (RPM) is expected to have a proficient understanding of project life cycle methodology; Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling and Closing. In addition, position is expected to provide project management expertise in task management, resource allocation, budget management, contracts and stakeholder communications for a network of retail service stations and convenience stores state‐wide. Must have a proven track record of completing projects on time, within budget and according to defined scope of work. Prior project management experience in retail operations, manufacturing, engineering or construction industries is a plus.
Desired competencies include: Familiarity with retail service stations and convenience store assets and operations preferred or equivalent similar experience with commercial retail businesses. Incumbent must be able to innovate and create using critical thinking skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Ideal candidate must be able to establish priorities under tight deadlines and have a proven history as a motivated, self‐starter who can drive multiple projects and priorities within a fast‐paced environment.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to:
1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
◦ Develop and manage Retail strategic initiatives, projects, system upgrades and other construction projects using S.M.A.R.T. goals and objectives to position Texaco as the number one branded fuel in Hawai’i (by volume). PM will work with key stakeholders through collaboration and open dialogue.
◦ Manage and lead Retail trade‐class conversions; Retailer Owned Retailer Operated (RORO) and Company Owned Retailer Operated (CORO) to Company Owned Company Operated (COCO) stations. Create, drive and execute deliverables with a focus on completing trade‐class conversions, on time, within budget and approved scope of work.
◦ Work closely with Operations, Facility Maintenance, IT and other key stakeholders to ensure all project tasks have been completed including the management of punch‐list post conversion items.
◦ Ensure standard operating procedures and all regulatory requirements are followed.
◦ Provide communications, documentation, procedures and assist with training for newly installed systems,
◦ processes or equipment.

2. Project Management (PM) Leadership:
◦ Provide PM support to Leadership and other Project Teams. Work with other cross‐functional teams to ensure a successful outcome (project communications; delays, budget concerns, hand‐offs, dependencies and issues).
◦ Responsible for root cause analysis on areas for improvement. Initiate change management tools and resources to efficiently complete and deliver projects.
◦ Proactively contribute to COCO operations by providing updates, i.e., operating standards, policies and guidelines.

3. Business Growth Opportunities:
◦ Canvas, research and analyze business growth opportunities with key stakeholders.
◦ Continually look for innovative ways to projects that improve efficiency/reliability, increase safety, reduce costs, improve the customer experience or enhance the Texaco and AMA brands as the premier retailer of fuels and convenience services to the motoring customers.
OTHER DUTIES
1. Manage retail excellence program, working closely with BCs and COCO Operations Team.
2. Champions safety, reliability and incident and injury free operations. Maintains commitment to a high standard of safety, complies with all safety laws and IES safety policies/rules, and reports actual and potential safety violations to appropriate management personnel. As a supervisor, trains, mentors and coaches employees regarding safe work practices and documentation.
