Occupational Therapist

Description

SPEECHCOM, INC is seeking full-time CA licensed Occupational Therapists to serve a school district in the Santa Clarita area of Los Angeles, CA for the 25/26 school year.

Rate of Pay: $60-$70 per hour W2 (depending on experience)
Hours: 8 hours per day/ 40 hours a week

• Assignment will run through the entire school year: August 12, 2025 through June 12, 2026
• Work Schedule depends on school site
• May be asked to work a couple of days before the start of the school year (orientation/training/classroom set up)

Requirements

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance student mobility and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with other service providers to ensure effective discharge planning and continuity of care.
• Educate parents and families on treatment goals.
• Document student progress and adjust care plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
• Provide support and guidance for students with disabilities and those requiring early intervention.

Required Skills:

Skill communicating verbally and in writing with students, faculty members, and parents so that all parties understand the program and the degree of progress being made. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience:

Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy

CA state-issued license as an Occupational Therapist
