About this role

The Carrier Commercial HVAC Operations team is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Supervisor - Logistics to oversee the material flow for the air-cooled value.

The Senior Supervisor – Logistics is essential in supporting our commitment to the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods, also takes responsibility for budgets, audits, and managing a team of professionals.

This is a 1st shift onsite role in Charlotte.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage material flow water-cool value stream budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Drive cost reduction and improvement activities
  • Ensure that materials management and logistics deployment are efficient and cost-effective
  • Set guidelines for quality and inventory controls to meet quality standards and schedules
  • Lead materials and inventory audits to confirm the availability of materials
  • Manage a team of logistics employees

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in logistics or material management
  • 1+ years of people management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business
  • Working knowledge of logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
  • Organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to lead and manage teams effectively
  • English (verbal and written) communication skills for negotiation and stakeholder engagement
