Sr. Staff Technician Job

Job involves a working knowledge of adhesives and materials, execution compliant with good laboratory practices, and effective time management.

Provide lab testing support for assigned market segment/technology with accuracy, precision, and responsiveness.  
Analyze results and make conclusions with assistance from direct manager. 
Create effective reports as needed with guidance from direct manager.
Comply with all safety requirements.
Ensure 5S execution and maintenance in the lab.
Aid with inventory management and other facility support activities.

 

Duties & responsibilities:

Preparation of adhesive samples using various methods - 20%
Testing of adhesive candidate following various methods and work instructions - 50%
Data record keeping, analysis, reporting and future planning - 15%
Lab safety/ 5S/ lab, equipment, and supply maintenance/ instrument calibration - 15%

 

Prerequisites:

Minimum 5 years experience working in a lab setting.
Associates Degree in scientific field, Chemical Technology focus preferred.
