Responsibilities
Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of Ads systems from system design consulting through to launch reviews, deployment, operation and refinement.
Build availability of services deployed across multiple data centers globally.
Deliver tools/software to improve the reliability, scalability and operability of services.
Measure and monitor availability, latency and overall service health.
Practice sustainable incident response and postmortems.
Participate in on-call rotations across continents.

Qualifications

Qualifications
Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:
Performing Linux administration, including monitoring performance, debugging issues, monitoring network behavior, and designing and troubleshooting networked applications using: OS networking protocol stack and OS concepts, including virtualization, containerization and memory management;
Working across all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering and analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance of back-end and cloud native projects;
Developing CI/CD tools in Python and writing automation Bash Shell scripts;
Automating and managing the full release lifecycle, including code development, build, testing, validation, and deployment; and
Developing cloud-based software applications and service.

Travel Requirement: Domestic and/or international travel up to 5% required.
