Job Title: System Administrative Manager

Clearance Level: Active DoD - Secret
Required Certification(s): · Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, IT Management, or related field.· Meet or Exceed IAT III and IAM III 8570 baseline certification requirements.· ISC² CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Highly Desired)
SUMMARYAt the direction of Program Leadership, provide oversight and project management for the Server and Storage Team supporting the US Army Research Laboratory to include all personnel management activities. Provide technical recommendations and solutions to address customer needs and technical gaps. Develop Project Plans and track progress of cross-team projects spanning multiple subject areas. Provide up-to-date reports and analysis on the execution and completion of projects and efforts across the organization. Recommend technologies and manage continual process improvements efforts for the Enterprise environment.As the Service Area Manager for the Server and Storage Team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of Windows and Linux Server Teams, Vulnerability Remediation Team, and the Endpoint Configuration Management Team providing end to end support to all ARL Customers and communicate regular status updates to stakeholders. This is a Managerial role that requires in-depth technical experience.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES· Technical Familiarity with common vendor technologies and capabilities from Industry leaders (VMWare, Citrix, Dell, etc.) · Proficiency administering Enterprise Mac, Windows, and Linux environments · In-depth technical expertise with Windows and Linux Enterprise Infrastructure· In-depth knowledge of DoD Information Security Practices· Proven IT Project management expertise for Service Delivery and Operations & Maintenance.· Understanding of common Development Lifecycle processes and Methodologies to include Agile Development, DevOps pipelines, Software Development, Service Testing, Documentation and QA/QC.· Administrative Provide and recommend training for Team Leads and Technical Staff.· Participate in personnel resource and planning decisions.· Establish and maintain policy, procedures, and controls for administrative access and the protection of user data.· Familiarity with government correspondence standards, and formats.· Other functions as directed by Program Leadership
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Certifications· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, IT Management, or related field.· Meet or Exceed IAT III and IAM III 8570 baseline certification requirements.· ISC² CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Highly Desired)Education, Background, and Years of Experience· 7 years of combined Experience Leading Technical Teams in IT Administration and Engineering, and in Systems Administration or Engineering roles managing Enterprise IT Infrastructure· 3 Years Project Management Experience or a combination of Professional Education, and Training
