Intern - Warehouse Operations, Spring/ Summer 2025

*This internship starts spring/summer of 2025 and is designed for undergrad students in their junior year*

As a Warehouse Operations Intern, you will assist in supervising day-to-day functions of warehouse operations execution associated with inbound receiving, outbound shipping, inventory and quality control, safety, service assurance, capacity planning, and maintaining optimum productivity levels, with the biggest focus being. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain expertise in inventory, production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing productivity
• Establish and maintain metrics for evaluating operational and economic performance in receiving shipping, inventory, production, and service level offerings
• Operate cost-consciously to achieve budget objectives
• Reinforce a culture of safety throughout the facility ensuring safety and sanitation schedules comply with HAACP, OSHA, and Primus Inspection Standards
• Identify and address areas for improvement by making recommendations and implementing approved changes, utilizing root cause problem-solving techniques to drive process improvement
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment while driving a culture of open communication and continuous improvement
• Provide coaching and mentoring to foster growth.

Required Qualifications:

• Manual dexterity is required for operating machinery
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to work in a warehouse with fluctuating temperatures.
• Applicants in a warehouse role must complete a pre-employment drug screen as part of a conditional job offer.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, team environment, while also delivering independent results
• Driven, enthusiastic, and highly motivated
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask

Compensation Range

$15 - $30 per hour
