Senior Infrastructure Solutions Engineer

TITLE:                                 Senior Infrastructure Solutions Engineer

EMPLOYER:                               Fiserv Solutions, LLC

LOCATION:                                 Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US subject to authorization from management)

DUTIES:                                      Determine baseline requirements and application specifications to deliver infrastructure solutions. Build, test, and document turnover environments for sustained support.  Assist with performing L3 incident management support for a wide range of critical revenue generating applications. Create new server-side configuration setups based on requirements. Assist with DR or business continuity events. Support front-line build initiatives. Create automation or scripted events to reduce manual work. Perform series of engineering tasks related to integration of applications such as development support of applications, log generation, log collection, updating of app configurations, installation of third-party software, middleware setup and modification, and performance tuning. Assist with maintenance or production change requests. Perform maintenance activities related to vulnerability management or Cyber Security events. Maintain documented standards performed by Site Reliability Engineering team and participate in training sessions.

REQUIREMENTS:                     Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving engineering experience with AIX, Linux or Windows operating systems in the financial industry. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree as stated, employer will accept 2 additional years in any job title involving engineering experience with AIX, Linux or Windows operating systems in the financial industry. Prior experience must include: 2 years supporting and maintaining 24x7 available distributed environments; 1 year enhancing and maintaining complex software and web application environments; 1 year creating and documenting infrastructure diagrams; Creating and managing continuous build, integration, test, and deployment systems; Monitoring, alerting, analyzing, and troubleshooting 3-tier infrastructure distributed systems; Designing and supporting solutions focused on high availability, resiliency, and scaling; OS tuning, optimization, and data analytics for vertical scaling; DevOps experience working with Chef, Puppet, Ansible, SALT, Python, or Powershell; Deployment of infrastructure within PCF, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure; Maintaining Github repositories; Configuring REST APIs; and Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and routing protocols.
