Talent Acquisition trainee

Job Scope:

The Talent Acquisition Trainee role is part of Zentiva’s Talent Acquisition Center of Expertise (COE), a key function focused on improving the efficiency and impact of recruitment across the organization. The COE designs and leads recruiting programs and strategies, offering specialized knowledge and support company-wide.

You will start by learning alongside our team of recruiters, beginning with candidate logistics such as scheduling interviews and managing communication. Over time, you will progress toward leading the full recruitment cycle, particularly for internships and early-career roles. The internship will evolve with your pace, giving you the space to grow and take on new challenges.

Job responsibilities:

This internship is designed as a step-by-step journey, where you'll gradually take on more responsibility as you gain experience and confidence.

Each phase builds on the previous one, gradually expanding your responsibilities and exposure to the full recruitment process.

In the first phase, you will focus on learning the foundations of talent acquisition by supporting our recruiters with essential coordination and system tasks, including:

• Organizing interview logistics and scheduling with candidates and hiring managers
• Reviewing and shortlisting active applicants for our recruiters from our Applicant Tracking System (Workday) and external platforms
• Managing job postings and requisitions in our ATS and across selected job platforms
• Keeping candidate records and statuses up to date in the system

In the second phase, you will begin to take a more active role in the recruitment process, particularly in candidate evaluation and communication. In addition to the tasks from Phase 1, you will:

• Conduct initial screening calls with active applicants to assess motivation and basic fit
• Coordinate feedback collection from hiring managers and ensure timely follow-up with candidate
• Support recruiters in preparing candidate summaries

In the final phase, you will take on more autonomy and apply everything you have learned throughout the internship.

• Take ownership of end-to-end recruitment for internship and early-career positions
• Proactively search for candidates for harder-to-fill roles, with guidance from a recruiter
• Build and maintain talent pools aligned with future hiring needs

Job requirements:

• We are looking for a candidate who is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in HR but not mandatory) with a high desired to explore Talent Acquisition
• Previous experience in Talent Acquisition as an advantage
• Very good English and Czech communication skills, any additional language as an asset (e.g. Romanian,…)
• Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building skills
