Clinical Tech - Operating Room (Days)

The Clinical Technician assists in the preparation of surgical invasive care procedures, i.e., surgical procedures, endoscopic procedures, etc. He/she may function as a sub-circulator under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. He/she is responsible for the care, cleaning, and maintenance of specialized equipment instruments, supplies, and sterilization equipment. Basic patient care functions are performed within established guidelines under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. Basic computer knowledge may be utilized to schedule procedures, input procedural data, and assist with periodic statistics. Education High School Diploma or GED Licenses & Certifications *Healthcare Provider (CPR) Qualifications *Basic computer knowledge. *CPR required within 30 days from the start date.
