Temple University's School of Medicine is searching for a Crisis Intervention Case Manager!

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000

Position Summary:

The Case Manager will coordinate and take the lead on all case management support services for the Phila. CeaseFire CIA Program designed Crisis Intervention Program. The Case Manager will work closely with individuals that have been victimized by violent crime including family members, and area residents. The Case Manager must conduct interviews with individuals recently injured in a hospital or community setting as well as link participants with community. resources. Individuals in this position will work closely with adult assault victims, co-victims, law enforcement, social service agencies and providers.

Job Details:

* This is a grant funded position

* This position requires the following background checks: criminal history review, child abuse clearance and FBI fingerprinting

Required Education and Experience:

* Bachelor’s Degree and four years of relevant work experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Required Skills and Abilities:

* Oral and written communication skills.

* Ability to effectively communicate with Community group

* Skill in interviewing participants to determine their needs.

* Comfortable working with participants recently violently injured in a medical or community setting

* Knowledge of community health care and vocational services.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community

Essential Duties:

* Case Manager must conduct interviews with individuals recently injured in a community setting, virtually or in the Phila CeaseFire office as well as link participants with a myriad of resources. Individuals in this position will work closely with adult assault victims, co-victims, law enforcement, social service agencies and providers.

* The case manager will provide follow-up assistance, assessing the needs of all clients and identify community resources including vocational services, education, counseling, crime victim compensation or other programs that will assist the participant with establishing a relationship with positive support networks.

* The Case manager will monitor all ETO entries and is responsible for generating monthly & quarterly ETO reports.
