As the Senior Supervisor, Warehouse, you will oversee the management of warehouse staff, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of customer orders, enforcing company policies and procedures, and fostering a safe and productive work environment. Forklift and management experience is required. We are looking for a leader who is ready to elevate warehouse processes and deliver the quality that Shure is known for. This position will lead during the 11:30am - 8:00pm shift.
This role will be on-site in our Wheeling, IL - Regional Distribution Center.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Manage and Guide Warehouse Staff and Supervisors: Oversee the supervision of Labelers, Pickers, Packers, and Temporary Contractors. Oversee performance, enforce security and safety protocols, and maintain housekeeping standards.
- Oversee Order Processing Efficiency: Monitor and manage the packaging and preparation of diverse customer orders, including domestic, export, Return Goods Service Orders, and LTL/TL shipments. Ensure adherence to priority sequences and shipping regulations while optimizing workflow and resource allocation to meet delivery objectives.
- Prepare Export Documentation: Prepare export packing lists for all export shipments, ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations.
- Drive Quality Assurance Standards: Conduct thorough inspections of picked materials, ensuring correct identification, count, and packaging methods. Implement quality control measures and guide team members in adopting best practices to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.
- Execute and Supervise General Warehouse Operations: Oversee the safe and efficient use of tools such as box-cutters, pallet jacks, forklifts, and tape guns. Ensure the accurate labeling of individual boxes and the precise selection of parts/products from the receiving and distribution center, meeting client orders. Provide guidance and feedback to the team, promoting safety and operational excellence standards across all warehouse activities.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-7 years in warehouse operations, focusing on semi-routine tasks.
- Ability to follow procedures and detailed instructions; forklift certification and experience required.
- Basic computer proficiency with SAP experience.
- Ability to identify methods and offer guidance with minimal supervision.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.:
- Supervisory experience in a warehouse environment.
- Skilled in implementing process improvements.
- Knowledge of export documentation and international shipping regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements.
