Business/System Analyst (Senior)

We are looking for an experienced Business/System Analyst (Senior). As a Business/System Analyst, you'll be responsible for understanding and analyzing business requirements, designing and implementing IT solutions, managing and tracking projects, communicating with stakeholders, and keeping up with the latest trends and technologies. This position also plays a vital role in bridging the gap between the business and the technical personnel within a project team, helping the company achieve its goals. The candidate must have a deep understanding of big data and product development technologies. 

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with stakeholders and users to gather business requirements and feedback, discuss optimal implementation approaches, and present the results to them after the release
• Analyze users' and stakeholders' requirements and feedback to identify their needs/goals, address risks, propose KPIs and improvements for optimal implementation
• Collaborate with the development team to validate and discuss implementation approaches/ architecture solutions initially proposed by you
• Document requirements in a way that is ready for development (including DB and API levels, not just User Stories/Use Cases), incorporating functional and non-functional requirements, UI mockups, software functionality, and business process/software design descriptions/diagrams
• Work with the QA team to validate and discuss test cases, and assist in testing (at UI/SQL/API levels)

Expected hard skills:

• Deep understanding of relational databases, including data structures, query writing (SQL), and ER-diagram development
• Deep understanding and practical application of API design principles, including API documentation and testing
• Relevant experience with architecture: systems integration (synchronous/asynchronous) and microservices. Experience in splitting monoliths into microservices is a plus
• Relevant experience with data analysis
• Representing business processes and software functionality using UML/BPMN notations
• Experience in UI-prototyping and UX-design principles
• Effectively conveying complex data to technical and non-technical audiences using tools like Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets. Tools like Power BI/Tableau (or similar) for data visualization are a plus
• Strong technical writing, editing, and formatting skills for clear and comprehensive system documentation
• Experience in AI-related projects and/or advanced usage of AI tools is a strong plus

Expected soft skills:

• Understanding of SDLC phases: planning, requirements gathering and analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Experience in gathering and analyzing requirements for complex systems/domains.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and evaluative skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical vision and outcomes; attention to detail.
