The Role
The Senior Compensation and Benefits Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing the organization's compensation and benefits programs. This includes analyzing and evaluating current programs, making recommendations for improvement, and implementing new programs. They will also ensure compliance with legal requirements and provide guidance to People and Culture and management on compensation and benefits policies and procedures.

What you’ll do:
- Implement, utilize, and identify efficiency improvements within key People & Culture and general data analytics systems such as Sequoia, BambooHR, Culture Amp, and Notion.
- Design and implement technology-enabled processes that drive efficiency for the People team as well as all employees. They will work closely with cross-functional partners to define objectives and success metrics.
- Work with the People & Culture team to identify organizational needs by conducting and reviewing surveys and internal audits.
- Provide support for DEIB projects and track key measurables in partnership with other talent teams such as recruiting and People & Culture business partners.
- Review and manage contract requests and budget within the People & Culture team.
- Process payroll on a semi-monthly basis in collaboration with Sequoia.
- Conduct cost analyses and risk assessments for People & Culture projects and report identified risks to management; provide recommendations for mitigation of risk.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices related to compensation and benefits, including FLSA, ERISA, and ACA.
- Perform all required audits and ensure data integrity within People & Culture Operations.
- Analyze and evaluate existing compensation and benefits programs, and recommend changes or improvements that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure the company's compensation and benefits programs are competitive.
- Develop and maintain compensation and benefits policies and procedures, and communicate them to People & Culture and management.
- Provide guidance to People & Culture and management on compensation and benefits issues, including job evaluations, salary structures, and benefits administration.
- Manage the annual performance and salary review process, including budget preparation, analysis, and communication to employees and management.
- Develop and deliver training programs related to compensation and benefits policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with external vendors, consultants, and legal counsel on compensation and benefits matters as needed.
What we’re looking for:
- At least five (5) years related work experience in People & Culture operations / project management
- Strong change management background with a record of delivering excellent results
- Hands-on work with MSFT Excel, Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides), People and Culture IS
- Must be organized with time management skills to deliver on multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to engage senior leaders and functional heads in resolving challenging situations
- Ability to handle ambiguity and adapt to changing requirements, processes, tools, and resources
- A thorough understanding of state and federal employment laws
Nice to haves (preferred skills):
- Experience managing BambooHR People and Culture, Sequoia, and/or Culture Amp
- Demonstrated consulting skills, with change management concepts and strategies, including communication and culture change
- Demonstrated project management ability to meet short deadlines and execute
