Practical Information:
Location: Poland | Reports to: Finance Director | Visa Requirements: Valid working visa for Poland | Language Requirements: Professional/fluent level Polish, written and verbal, English communicative level | Work Arrangement: Remote
As our newly appointed Senior Finance Accountant, you will be responsible for daily accounting activities including Accounts Receivables, cash management, and maintaining accurate and complete records. In this role, you will support month-end closings, internal and external reporting as well as planning and forecasting. Together with the team, you will work closely with continuous improvement of our financial processes.
The role:
- Assist in the day-to-day accounting operations
- Responsible service projects accounting and handling the invoicing process
- Contribute to enhancing accounting and closing processes through active participation and support in continuous improvement efforts
- Provide comprehensive support in matters of audit and compliance, offering assistance as needed
What we need to see from you:
- Practical experience as a Financial Accountant or in a similar role, IT industry experience is considered advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics
- Proficiency in Excel with solid expertise in IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
- Experience using ERP systems and local accounting experience, including transactional and financial accounting processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships within and between teams, including working effectively with remote teams
- Responsible and self-motivated, demonstrating sound judgment in financial matters, attention to detail, and a focus on improving financial processes
