Rotation Program At-A-Glance:
The Audit Rotation Program is designed to accelerate internal employee development, with an emphasis on professional development, enabling high performance, and cultivating future leaders at Scotiabank.
The program is available to Audit Senior Managers in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.
Purpose
As a Senior Manager, Audit Rotation Program participant, you will be provided the opportunity to build on your experience in Audit and better understand how the Bank operates through on-the-job learning, development experiences and a core curriculum, while under the mentorship of a leader and supported by a dedicated program manager.
Accountabilities:
Over the course of 15 months, participants will move through three rotation placements, which will allow you to gain a broad range of experience unique to career paths in Audit. Placements in this program may include various functions within Audit, Business Lines and/or other Corporate Functions.
You will complete the rotation program with an enhanced skill set and a deeper connection to your peers, the Audit community, and the Bank.

You have:
- At minimum, 1 year of continuous time on post in current role and are highly proficient at applying risk-based auditing standards, practices, techniques, processes and methodologies to performance and review of audits
- Working knowledge of the operations and regulatory environments of each of the audit units globally, as required for specific areas of assigned responsibility.
- Ability to supervise multiple projects at any given time.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) to work with staff and management at various levels.
- Strong people/project management and coaching/development skills.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in the use of data analytic or visualization tools.
- Proven ability to work in high levels of ambiguity and in a rapidly changing environment.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and excellent attention to detail
Working Conditions
Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
