Physical Therapist

Our partner in Grand Rapids, ND, is seeking a Physical Therapist to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Orient patients, family members, and relevant parties to the therapy evaluation and treatment process.
• Provide patient education, family support, and teaching as necessary.
• Gather and document all required patient information, including precautions, orders, and initial care plans.
• Select and implement evaluation and treatment methods based on patient age, diagnosis, symptoms, and physician orders.
• Coordinate treatment schedules with other disciplines using appropriate procedures.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and document accurate discharge plans in inpatient settings.
• Identify significant changes in the patient's condition and take appropriate actions.
• Monitor program effectiveness and outcomes, initiating and developing new programs as needed.
• Perform pain assessments and follow standard operating procedures.
• Perform any other duties assigned to meet departmental or organizational needs.

Requirements

• Physical Therapist certification from the North Dakota Board Of Physical Therapy (Prior to Start Date).
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (Current State Licensed, Prior to Start Date).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) within 90 days of Start Date.
