We seek a highly experienced and dynamic Director of Accounting Operations to join our team and contribute to our success. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless execution of accounting operations, process improvements, and effective collaboration across teams.

What You'll Do

Accounting Operations Oversight:

• Review journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
• Support the monthly and quarterly accounting close process, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
• Execute and oversee key internal controls, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and other relevant regulations.

Process Ownership:

• Manage Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Properties (tangible and intangible assets) accounting cycles.
• Drive process standardization and optimization to ensure scalable and efficient operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align processes with organizational goals.

Leadership and Team Management:

• Supervise and guide staff within the shared services center located in Bangalore, India, ensuring high performance and professional development.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Technology and System Implementation:

• Play a key role in the implementation of NetSuite, including configuration, testing, and adoption.
• Champion the use of technology to automate manual processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Business Partnering:

• Interface with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, business units, and other departments, to address accounting and operational issues.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support decision-making.

What You'll Need

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional Certification: CPA or CA (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience: 15+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on operational roles in global organizations.
• Leadership: Proven track record of leading and managing teams, including remote or geographically dispersed teams.
• Systems Expertise: Experience with ERP systems, with NetSuite experience being highly desirable.
• Change Management: Demonstrated ability to drive change, improve processes, and implement scalable, automated solutions.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
