The Team: 

The Community Nurses team is part of the serviced provided by the North Eastern Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Scottsdale. The community nursing team provide an outreach nursing care to the people living in the Dorset Municipality which is a catchment area of more than 3200 square kms. This service provides care in client's homes. 

The Role:

• Provide nursing care in a client's home.
• Care includes wound care, this includes complex chronic wounds and/or acute surgical wounds.
• Palliative care including end of life to clients in their homes.

Details of appointment:

Fixed term part time, day worker position, working up to 12 hours per fortnight, 2 February 2025 until 4 October 2026

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $78,179 to $105,995 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.

Access to the Grade 4 salary range $99,455- $105,995 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

• Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification type

Salary Packaging:

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
