Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Sr Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform intermediate-level maintenance and repair tasks on equipment, machinery, and facility systems. You will also assist senior technicians with more complex projects while working independently on routine maintenance activities.
About This Role
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:
• Repair and maintain mechanical and electrical systems, including motors, pumps, and production machinery.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot moderate-level issues involving electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic systems.
• Assist with facility upkeep, including minor plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
• Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and equipment necessary for completing tasks.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve equipment and facility issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance tasks, and inspections.
• Help identify opportunities to improve equipment efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Adhere to all company safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training is a plus.
• 2–4 years of experience in facilities or equipment maintenance.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable performing physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime or be on-call for emergencies.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for interpreting drawings or assisting with facility layout and upgrades is highly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, or welding is a plus.
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Certification or coursework in technical fields (e.g., electrical, mechanical, or HVAC systems).
Work Environment
You will work both indoors and outdoors in a variety of settings, including industrial and commercial spaces. The ability to perform light to moderate physical labor and operate in potentially noisy or active environments is required.
