Senior Developer (Java | Kafka Streaming)

<p>We are looking for you, if you: </p><ul><li> have excellent knowledge of and experience in using Java,</li><li> know the Kafka Streaming API,</li><li> are familiar with Kafka, Kafka Connect, Schema registry,</li><li> have experience with Oracle database (SQL/PL-SQL),</li><li> are a team player who works well collaborating with others.</li></ul><p></p><p>English level - C1 (international team)</p><p></p><p>You'll get extra points for: </p><ul><li> knowledge of KSQL,</li><li> CI / CD tooling: Azure DevOps, Maven, CheckMarx, Git, Ansible,</li><li> Data Integration techniques,</li><li> Data modelling,</li><li> Agile knowledge.</li></ul><p>  </p><p>Your responsibilities: </p><ul><li>application feature development,</li><li>application management,</li><li>working with IT risk,</li><li>meetings (Scrum events).</li></ul><p></p><p>Information about squad:</p><p> We are looking for a Java DEVOPS to build with us the Strategic Data Exchange between Lending core and surrounding systems.</p><p> Your contribution will be critical to realize our ambitioned Lending data platform, with high quality and timely data availability, moving from batch to real-time. </p><p> We are looking for someone with an easy-to-work-with, mature and can-do mentality. Someone who is an open and honest communicator, who values working as part of a team, who is willing and able to coach or train other developers and who is aware of developments and trends in the industry and corporate ecosystem. </p><p> This is a joined effort between ING units, and you are going to be part of a distributed multi-national and multi-cultural team.</p><p> We're using SCRUM and Agile.</p><p>  </p><p>The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer IV”.</p>
