Inside the Role
Interns will gain knowledge and experience through exciting and real-life learning opportunities. Interns must work in accordance with DTNA’s core values of passion, respect, integrity and discipline. Internship positions can be located at various DTNA locations across the US. We are looking for high performing and motivated individuals in various areas within DTNA organizations. DTNA internships begin each summer in May or June.Interns in this role may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position subject to manager evaluations and business availability.
International Trade Compliance (ITC) is responsible for ensuring DTNA companies adhere to the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing the import and export of goods across international borders. ITC ensures that trade activities comply with various requirements related to tariffs, trade agreements, and sanctions, preventing illegal trade practices and promoting fair competition. Companies must stay updated on changing regulations and maintain accurate documentation to avoid penalties and disruptions. Effective trade compliance mitigates risks and facilitates smooth, lawful international business operations.
The Supply Chain Mapping Intern will evaluate supply chain mapping results and work with Procurement and Supplier Management to drive supplier dialogues where risks of forced or child labor have been identified in their supply chain. This position will collaborate with ITC, Procurement, Supplier Management colleagues, and suppliers to track and identify measures that can show the effectively of current processes. Develop a reporting process to upper management. There will be an opportunity to develop and/or modify processes to be effective.

Salary placement is determined by your anticipated graduation year and ranges between $21 - $30 per hour.

What You Drive at DTNA
- Collaborate on reporting process of findings.
- Work with different AI supply chain mapping and data analytics processes.
- Work with service providers to improve processes.
- Understand the breadth and scope of international trade in today's environment.
Knowledge You Should Bring
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s/PhD Program from an accredited college/university or have graduated within the last 12 months.
- Major preferred in Supply Chain, Supply Chain Management
- A strong candidate would have an understanding of international trade compliance role in supplier management
- Strong oral and written communication skills including phone communication
- Solid organizational skills
- Creative mindset
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
