Job title:
The Business Process Expert- Customer Project Manager is responsible for ensuring best in class Philips' complex business capabilities to improve quality, ensure reliable execution and deliver a better customer and employee experience. The role works under limited supervision, applies industry best practices such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile to enhance efficiency of business capabilities (data, process, org/people, technology). The role assists in establishing an accurate capability performance and adoption reporting in their domain, with reference to relevant targets.
Your role:

In this position, you will contribute by analyzing, designing, and optimizing comprehensive business processes for successful customer project delivery. Identifying inefficiencies and drive improvements with Lean or Six Sigma; creating scalable frameworks for onboarding, executing, and closing customer projects.

• Key Responsibilities

• Process Design & Optimization
  • Analyze, design, and refine end-to-end business processes for customer project delivery.
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Develop scalable frameworks for onboarding, execution, and closure of customer projects.
• Project Governance & Execution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent project execution aligned with business goals.
  • Define and maintain project governance standards, templates, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Support program managers and project leads with tools, training, and best practices.
• Customer Success Alignment
  • Partner with Customer Success and Implementation teams to ensure seamless project handoffs and delivery.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and drive initiatives to improve outcomes.
  • Serve as a process liaison between customer-facing teams and internal operations.
• Technology & Tools Enablement
  • Participate in the selection, configuration, and adoption of project management platforms and automation tools.
  • Ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy across systems.
  • Champion digital transformation initiatives that enhance project visibility and control.
• Change Management & Training
  • Develop and deliver training programs for project teams on new processes and tools.
  • Facilitate change management efforts to ensure adoption and sustainability of improvements.
  • Act as a mentor and coach for continuous improvement culture.

• 5+ years of experience in business process improvement and customer project management.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle methodologies
• Proficiency in project management tools
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in healthcare, SaaS, or enterprise technology environments is a plus.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
