Senior BI Backend Developer

In this role we need an Senior BI backend developer who is capable to maintain the tools while provide support and guidance to the users.</p><p><strong>Main tasks, roles and responsibilities</strong>:</p><ul><li>Detailing the solution design in close cooperation with our solution architects.</li><li>Creation of SAP-BW data flows, data models and CDS views.</li><li>Extractor creation/development to SAP and non-SAP applications.</li><li>Implementation of smaller routines in ABAP.</li><li>Creation of programming requests for our internal development team or for external programmers.</li><li>Steering of external consultants and/or developers.</li></ul><p>Participation in our S/4Hana / BW4Hana rollout project</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Experiences and requirements:</strong></p><p><u>Education: </u></p><ul><li>University degree within IT or similar</li></ul><p><u>Work experiences – time/seniority/ sector:</u></p><ul><li>At least 8 years of experience in BI world</li></ul><p><u>Technical/ IT knowledge:</u></p><ul><li><p><strong>Expertise in SAP BWonHANA  </strong></p></li><li><ul><li>Strong knowledge of SAPBWonHANA architecture and data modeling.</li><li>Experience with ADSO, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, and SAP HANA Calculation Views.</li></ul></li><li><p><strong>SAP HANA Data Modeling (not a must)</strong></p></li><li><ul><li>Proficiency in native SAP HANA data modeling.</li><li>Skills in SQL and HANA Script.</li></ul></li><li><p><strong>ETL Processes and Data Integration</strong></p></li><li><ul><li>Ability to integrate data from various source systems (both SAP and non-SAP).</li></ul></li><li><p><strong>ABAP Development</strong></p></li><li><ul><li>Experience with ABAP particularly for minor custom developments in the SAP BW context (e.g., routines, user exits).</li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Experience with Reporting Tools</strong></p></li><li><ul><li>Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Analysis for Office, or other frontend tools integrated with BW.</li></ul></li><li><p> </p><p><strong>Project Experience</strong></p></li><li><ul><li>Experience with implementation, migration, and optimization projects in the SAP BW domain.</li><li>Ability to design and execute end-to-end architectures.</li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Understanding of Business Processes</strong></p></li><li><ul><li>Familiarity with various SAP modules such as FI/CO, SD(<strong>preferred</strong>), MM, PP, or HR and their data models in BW.</li><li>Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.</li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Agile and Traditional Project Management</strong></p></li><li><ul><li>Experience working in agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) as well as traditional waterfall methodologies.</li></ul></li><li><ul><li>Proficiency in creating technical documentation and specifications.</li><li>Experience with both automated and manual testing processes.</li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Documentation and Testing</strong></p></li></ul><p><u>Language – with level </u></p><ul><li>Fluent English</li><li>Other languages as per role requirement</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills and Competencies:</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Analytical Thinking</strong></p></li><li><ul><li>Ability to analyze complex problems and develop structured solutions.</li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Communication Skills</strong></p></li><li><ul><li>Strong ability to interact with business stakeholders, clients, and internal teams.</li><li>Experience bridging the gap between technical and functional requirements.</li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Self-Management and Teamwork</strong></p></li><li><ul><li>Capability to work independently while contributing effectively to team efforts.</li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Flexibility and Continuous Learning</strong></p></li><li><ul><li>Willingness to adapt to new technologies and stay updated within the SAP ecosystem.</li></ul></li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>Why work with us?</strong></p><ul><li>Flexible working conditions with remote work possibility (i
