Intern, Business Support (2025 Summer Treasury Internship)

Overview

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is seeking an treasury Intern to join our Home Office treasury team.  In this role, you will gain valuable hands-on experience. 

 

This internship is in-person at our St. Petersburg, FL location during the dates of May 19th to August 8th, 2025.

Major Position Responsibilities

• Provides support to professional employees working in an organizational function related to the Intern's area of study. 

• Contributes to assigned projects and may assist with the development and maintenance of documentation or records. 

• Learns organizational processes and procedures.  

• Job shadows other more experienced professionals and or support staff.  

• May also support the documentation & updates of procedures or work instructions. 

• Handles basic issues and problems 

 

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist with daily bank reporting/posting.
• Perform analytical reviews of historical trends for financial and performance metrics.
• Develop AdHoc financial models to address departmental requirements.

Basic Qualifications

• Required education and experience: Must be currently enrolled in busines analytics or finance courses or be within 6 months of graduation.
• Knowledge, skills & abilities: Ability to work as part of a team. Oral and written communication skills. Attentiveness. Ability to understand and follow directions.Strong computer skills, and proficient in MS Office application are required with emphasis in Excel. Strong analytical and qualitative abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's or Master's Degree
• Discipline/Major: Business Analytics or Finance Degree preferred

 

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
• Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

 

Travel:

• No travel likely.
