How you will make an impact:
The Region Director, Sales will be responsible for the management of a National Vita Sales team establishing a new market for APM in Ambulatory Surgical Centers (ASC) and Hospital Outpatient Departments (HOPDs). This Region Director role will be responsible for leading a team working with a diverse set of customers within the ASC and/or HOPD setting – surgeons, intensivists, materials management, anesthesiologists, and critical care. This role is based remotely anywhere in the U.S.
Responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that result in achievement of annual sales objectives.
Manage and oversee the work of national sales and will have financial budget responsibilities while working weekly in the field with sales team.
Identify risk, develop and lead in the implementation of non-invasive sales strategies which may include negotiations with internal and external parties.
Plan and direct complex activities with large scale or significant business impact with the accountability for successful completion of all deliverables.
Lead in identifying risk, developing mitigation strategies, alternative solutions, resolving issues in collaboration with cross functional and/or matrix teams.
Provides leadership to create a high trust culture and environment.
Talent management responsibilities including identifying, hiring, retaining and developing talent.
What you'll need (Required):
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in in related field related experience in operations management at regional level
Minimum of 10 years of experience
Demonstrated successful track record in people management

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader who has successfully managed new product launches and complex sales processes in the medical device space.
Proven successful project management leadership skills.
Proven expertise in Business Intelligence, Customer relationship management and related tools and systems
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives.
Fluent in English.
Expert understanding of Operations procedures (particularly sales operations, SOX, global systems , compliance; project management , dealer management ) with extensive and detailed knowledge of company allowing for innovative concepts and promoting new ideas.
Serves as core partner to senior leaders in Business Units, Functional Groups, and Regions
Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
Ability to travel extensively
