About the role
POSITION SUMMARY
The employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for the successful operation of the housekeeping shift. Ensuring that high standards of cleanliness of all casino, administrative offices, atrium and public areas are met.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provides superior guest service, positively affect interactions with guests and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
- Ensure the 3 priorities of cleaning are followed consistently by employees: Restrooms, Lobby, and Casino Floor.
- To develop and manage the scheduling of housekeeping work assignments and oversee the completion of the assignments.
- Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers. Manage process and programs to efficiently control and reduce loss time injuries.
- Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted level of employment. Delegate duties and assign responsibilities.
- Development of staff, interviews, hires and evaluates. Maintain employee files.
- Knowledge of applicable OSHA standards for safety, chemicals and blood borne pathogen and operation of cleaning equipment.
- Review housekeeping activities with Slot/Beverage Operations Manager.
- Completes all company-required training within designated time frames.
- Creating a clean, safe, friendly and fun atmosphere for all guests and employees.
