Job Title: Blackstone Technology & Innovations (BXTi) – Associate – Server and Application Engineering

Job Responsibilities:

• Create the next generation of innovative software solutions for Blackstone and the financial community at large, thinking outside of the box to push forward inventive and scalable solutions.
• Automate Blackstone’s on-premise and cloud infrastructure with Powershell, Puppet, Terraform, and Amazon Web Services.
• Build, test, and implement other solution-based frameworks using VMware, vSphere, Cisco UCS, Compellent SAN, Jenkins, TeamCity, Python, Bash and other software solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to flush out business requirements, technical design, implementation, testing, release, and support.
• Deliver scalable and robust automation solutions through thoughtful design and code.
• Ad-hoc troubleshooting, break/fix work, and participation in on-call rotations.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Management, Software Engineering, or a related field

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in job offered or related occupations
• Minimum 3 years of experience in: utilizing Microsoft – SQL Server;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in: Windows Server;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in: PowerShell;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in: Open Source – Ubuntu;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in: RedHat;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in: Other – Puppet;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in: Terraform;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in: Git;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in: AWS;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in: Datadog;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in: TeamCity;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in: Jenkins;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in: Artifactory;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in: Service Now; and
• Minimum 3 years of experience in: ActiveBatch.
• Experience can be concurrent.

Expected annual base salary range:

$116,000 - $160,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
